EXTD=CUSTOMER REVIEW\nA Christmas Album good for any Christmas occasio
EXTD=n, May 31, 2004\nReviewer: L.A. Scene (Lawrenceville, NJ USA)\nTh
EXTD=ey say when you put out a Christmas Album that is good, you can m
EXTD=ake your mark on the music industry for years to come. Air Supply
EXTD= had already accomplished much in the music industry, and "The Ch
EXTD=ristmas Album" helps solidify their standing in the industry. As
EXTD=far as Christmas albums go, this is a very good one that offers a
EXTD= modern pop angle on popular Christmas songs. In addition, this a
EXTD=lbum is boosted by two new Christmas songs written by Graham Russ
EXTD=ell and performed by Air Supply.\nThere are 10 songs on this albu
EXTD=m. In addition to the 2 new Air Supply songs, there are 8 traditi
EXTD=onal Christmas favorites. The 8 songs are "White Chrismas", "The
EXTD=First Noel", "The Little Drummer Boy", "Silent Night", "The Chris
EXTD=tmas Song", "Sleigh Ride", "Winter Wonderland", and "O'Come All Y
EXTD=e Faithful". This is sort of a mixed blessing on this album. From
EXTD= one standpoint you will get to hear Air Supply perform a Christm
EXTD=as favorite without damaging the integrity of the song. The other
EXTD= standpoint is "not these songs again!". Although Graham Russell
EXTD=and Russell Hitchock do a tremendous job at performing these song
EXTD=s, it is disappointing that they didn't pick some songs that aren
EXTD='t quite as mainstream as these. Regardless, these songs are perf
EXTD=ect for Graham and Russell's voices. The other nice thing is that
EXTD= their performances on this album are really suitable for almost
EXTD=any occasion. I wouldn't hesitate to pop this CD on Christmas Eve
EXTD= or even Christmas Morning while opening presents.\n\nThe two bes
EXTD=t songs on the album are "Sleigh Ride" and "Winter Wonderland". B
EXTD=oth songs make use of both Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock's
EXTD= vocals trading off. I always think Air Supply is at its best whe
EXTD=n both Graham and Russell are doing vocals in a song. In both son
EXTD=gs, each contains a nice chorus of background vocals and some nic
EXTD=e musical effects to really create a Christmas mood. The duo also
EXTD= performs "White Christmas" and I think that even Bing Crosby wou
EXTD=ld be proud of the job that Russell Hitchcock does on vocals. On
EXTD="White Christmas" it has a 1940s type of feel to it still. In "Th
EXTD=e Little Drummer Boy" Graham Russell does a great job at lead voc
EXTD=als for the whole song while Russell Hitchcock take the role of b
EXTD=ackground vocals (it is always good to see Graham Russell on lead
EXTD= vocals).\n\nThe two new songs are really good and could easily s
EXTD=tand on their own as "Christmas Classics". The "Eyes of a Child"
EXTD=follows a classic Air Supply vocal pattern - Graham Russell start
EXTD=ing off on lead vocals, Russell Hitchcock coming in with vocals o
EXTD=n the chorus, then a (slight) crescendo toward the end. Russell H
EXTD=itchcock takes the lead vocals on "Love is All" and really gets a
EXTD= chance to showcase those incredible vocals. "Love is All" has a
EXTD=more classic Air Supply crescendo (larger) toward the end of the
EXTD=song.\n\nThe liner notes in the CD are good. Full credits are giv
EXTD=en to the studio musicians. The lyrics to the new songs are also
EXTD=included. There are a few pictures of Graham and Russell with som
EXTD=e children. It is also worth knowing that Graham and Russell are
EXTD=co-producers on this album along with Michael Lloyd and I think t
EXTD=he personal touch on the production gives this album a boost.\n\n
EXTD=In a nutshell, this is a good Air Supply album and this is a good
EXTD= Christmas album. You'll only play it during the month of Decembe
EXTD=r and you might get tired of it by Christmas eve, but by next Dec
EXTD=ember you will want to pop it into your CD player again.\n\n\nAMA

EXTD=er 20, 2005\nA Kid's Review\nI love Air Supply, I have their grea
EXTD=test Hits CD and I love it and think the songs on that CD are gre
EXTD=at so that is why I bought their Christmas CD and sorry but I hav
EXTD=e to agree with the reviewer from Canada that this CD is boring!
EXTD=I love Christmas music but this CD just dosen't appeal to me at a
EXTD=ll and I find it to be a major snorefest!\n\n\nAMAZON.COM CUSTOME
EXTD=R REVIEW\nThis is a must-have for your Christmas music collection
EXTD=!, December 6, 1998\nReviewer: A music fan\nAs any Air Supply fan
EXTD= would know, they can really sing a tune! The feeling they put in
EXTD=to their music is felt throughout the CD. The songs they wrote fo
EXTD=r this CD, "The Eyes of a Child" and "Love is All" tell about the
EXTD= true meaning of Christmas. Whenever I hear "The Eyes of a Child"
EXTD=, it makes me think back to when I was a kid and everyone would d
EXTD=ress up in their very best and go to church to sing and experienc
EXTD=e the true meaning of Christmas. Then to go to bed hoping to fall
EXTD= asleep faster than ever to get the night over with to run out to
EXTD= the living room to see all the gifts. To me, there is nothing gr
EXTD=eater than to "see" Christmas as a child sees it: wonderful and a
EXTD=mazing! I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
