EXTD=Live ...My Truck Is My Home\n1994 Razor & Tie Music, L.P.\n\nOrig
EXTD=inally Released September 20, 1994\n\nAMG EXPERT REVIEW: Fourteen
EXTD= tracks taken from various sources (soundboard tapes, etc.) from
EXTD=performances plucked from 1982, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1994.
EXTD=Loads of great Crenshaw material ("You're My Favorite Waste of Ti
EXTD=me," "Cynical Girl"), explosive guitar that seldom surfaces on hi
EXTD=s studio efforts the way it does here, and plenty of deadpan humo
EXTD=r (the picture of Bo "Billy, Don't Be a Hero" Donaldson on the di
EXTD=sc itself says it all) make this a great live album with quirks t

EXTD= REVIEW\nMixed live bag, mostly for fans., February 1, 2004\nRevi
EXTD=ewer: Tim Brough "author and music buff" (Springfield, PA United
EXTD=States)\nThat said, I should add that I am a fan, so this disc ha
EXTD=s a permanent home in my collection. But for the casual listener,
EXTD= you should probably start with the first album or the "This Is E
EXTD=asy" collection. The main reason is the sound recording quality w
EXTD=hich ranges from pretty good ("Fantastic Planet of Love") to horr
EXTD=ific ("Twine Time" and any of the cassette lifts). But for the di
EXTD=e hards, this disc saves for posterity what a dynamic live perfor
EXTD=mer Crenshaw, at his peak, can be. It doesn't hurt that the lineu
EXTD=ps included the original trio (Marshall, brother Robert on drums
EXTD=and bassist Chris Donato) and members of Joe Jackson's band (Grah
EXTD=am Maby on bass). Makes me wish for a King Biscuit Hour or Warner
EXTD='s Radio Special to be hidden in the vaults somewhere waiting to
EXTD=get discovered.\n\nAMAZON.COM CUSTOMER REVIEW\nExcellent live Cre
EXTD=nshaw, August 27, 2000\nReviewer: bruce horner (San Francisco, CA
EXTD= USA)\nThis CD is more for fans than the casual listener, but as
EXTD=such it's pretty damn good. I like "Fantastic Planet of Love" bet
EXTD=ter than the studio version. Any live album that includes both an
EXTD= ABBA and MC5 cover is worth a listen. "Wanda and Duane," "Have Y
EXTD=ou Seen Her Face," and "Vague Memory" are also standouts. Nice mi
EXTD=xture of rocking and acoustic/ballad material, too. Let me put it
EXTD= this way: If you like Marshall, get this. If you've barely heard
EXTD= of him, get the debut, or Miracle of Science, or This Is Easy.\n
EXTD=\nAMAZON.COM CUSTOMER REVIEW\nUnderappreciated genius, June 21, 1
EXTD=999\nReviewer: A music fan\nIntegrity is Marshall Crenshaw's midd
EXTD=le name. When it came to putting together a live cd he didn't jus
EXTD=t slap one together. This is a well thought out, nicely paced cd.
EXTD= My favorite cut is "Fantastic Planet of Love". The surprise is a
EXTD= wonderful cover of ABBA's "Knowing Me Knowing You" This cd rocks
EXTD=, and also has some nice acoustic numbers on it. Buy it!
