EXTD=ple of Elvis titles drew the consumer in with a couple of tasty r
EXTD=ecent outtakes (1968's "Tiger Man" and a pair from the 1969 Memph

EXTD= that were, for the most part, better forgotten. Even at the budg

EXTD=en single sides from both the movies and the studio in an interes

EXTD=y in the two years prior to the NBC special. "Clean up Your Own B

EXTD=rite Elvis Releases, May 14, 2006\nReviewer: Lon S. Roberts (Atla
EXTD=nta, GA)\nThis was originally released as a budget album back in
EXTD=the 70s. I bought my first copy on cassette for $3.99. I always e
EXTD=njoyed the album. First, I admit, part of this is nostalgic for m
EXTD=e. But it's also a strong release. The title track is a strong so
EXTD=ng that was in the film Live a Little, Love a Little. Long Legged
EXTD= Girl is a rocking number from Easy Come, Easy Go. Edge of Realit
EXTD=y is from Live a Little, Love a Little and it's probably the most
EXTD= unique Elvis song ever recorded. And a good one at that. My Litt
EXTD=le Friend was the B side song on the single release of Suspicious
EXTD= Minds. It's a subtle yet endearing song. I have always enjoyed l
EXTD=istening to it. The next two songs have been remixed over the las
EXTD=t few years - Little Less Conversation and Rubberneckin'. Rubbern
EXTD=eckin' was recorded in the same studio sessions that gave us Susp
EXTD=icious Minds, Kentucky Rain, and In the Ghetto (which Taylor Hick
EXTD=s did a good job on recently on Idol). Rubberneckin' was later us
EXTD=ed for Change of Habit. Although the remix of Little Less Convers
EXTD=ation didn't us this particular version of Little Less Conversati
EXTD=on (it used a 1968 Comeback Special version), this version is exc
EXTD=ellent. Both songs, and the whole album, proved that Elvis still
EXTD=had it, even when recording movie songs. U.S. Male is a great lit
EXTD=tle song that was released as a single in 1967 and it the first s
EXTD=hot in the Elvis "comeback" battle that eventually culminated in
EXTD=the NBC special and the 1969 Memphis recordings. Charro was the t
EXTD=heme song of the movie of the the same name. It's another great s
EXTD=ong done in a western / cowboy feel of it's day. Elvis made Clint
EXTD= Eastwood proud with this one. The closing song, Stay Away Joe, i
EXTD=s the romping title song from the movie of the same name. Some re
EXTD=leases of this album had a version of a song "Stay Away" which wa
EXTD=s used at the begining of the film but this was apparently an err
EXTD=or back in the day. \n\nIn short, this is a very enjoyable album.
EXTD= It's held up over the years as one of my favorites. I'm glad to
EXTD=add it to my collection. I'm sure other Elvis fans will do the sa
EXTD=me thing.\n\nAMAZON.COM CUSTOMER REVIEW\nLittle bit of an error..
EXTD=.., May 19, 2006\nReviewer: Paul Jones (Sturbridge, MA USA) - See
EXTD= all my reviews \nGreat nostalgic Cd, along with Flaming Star. On
EXTD=ly problem is the last track is titled Stay Away, Joe, but we get
EXTD= Stay Away instead, which is a totally different song, albeit fro
EXTD=m the same movie. Apart from that not bad for a seven bucks cd\n\n
